Residential Central Air Conditioning System Installation

A hot house is frustrating, especially if you have a condition such as menopause that causes you to sweat more than usual. There is only so much that a portable fan can do, and cooling off an entire house isn't one of them. If you have become frustrated with sweating throughout the day and night because there isn't a sufficient system in your house to keep it cool, it is time to get a central air conditioner installed. You shouldn't choose a system for your house until you have asked an HVAC technician for advice, as you need one that can accommodate the square footage of your house. If you have never had a central system installed before, there are multiple parts that will have to be installed.

The Purpose of Coils

Coils have the purpose of assisting with making a house reach a low temperature when the air conditioning system is running. A residential central air conditioning system usually has two coils, the evaporator and condenser. However, a large house might require more than two coils being installed in order to efficiently cool the entire house down. One coil that a technician will install is the condenser so it can remove hot air out of your house. He or she will also install an evaporator coil to cool off air that is sent through from the blower fan.

How Fast Coolness Is Achieved

A pro that many homeowners enjoy about central air conditioning systems is their ability to provide a sufficient amount of coolness fast. The reason why fast coolness is possible is that a technician will install a ventilation system in your house. Air ducts are the main part of the ventilation system, and they will be distributed throughout the house in a strategic manner. For instance, ducts can be installed in each bedroom and bathroom, in the kitchen, and in various areas throughout the hallways to make sure that cold air reaches each room as fast as possible. You can request that the ducts be routed towards specific rooms as well.

Power & Temperature Control

Your central air conditioning system will have to be wired to the electrical panel in your house in order for it to receive power and turn on. As for controlling the temperature level, the technician will install a thermostat that can be set as you desire. Keep in mind that there are numerous thermostat options, so choose one that is able to accommodate your needs.
